Kenya Literature Bureau supports students and institutions through a lifetime of learning by equipping school and community libraries with reference materials. Through our CSV campaign dubbed “Twachapisha Mwasoma” we endeavor to improve literacy, especially in marginalized communities.
We have also partnered with institutions such as the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) to champion environmental conservation campaigns. In these campaigns, KLB has led schools and communities in planting and taking care of millions of trees. We appreciate the fact that paper, which is our main raw material in the book making process, comes from trees and that trees do not only guarantee us books for the next generation but also a shade under which they can be read.
