Mr Evans Toto Nyachieng’a holds a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management from Kenyatta University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nairobi. He also has a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Railway Training Institute and a Practitioners Diploma in Marketing from the Marketing Society of Kenya. Mr Nyachieng’a’s remarkable 30-year work experience encompasses various roles. He previously served as Ag General Manager – Commercial Service, Corporate Affairs Manager, Corporate Services Manager, and Human Resource Manager at Kenya Literature Bureau. Mr Nyachieng’a has previously served at the National Museums of Kenya as the Principal Administrative Officer, National Water Conservation and Pipeline Corporation, as Manager/Acting Chief HR and Administration Manager, and as Deputy Regional Manager (Human Resources and Administration) - Coast Region. He had a secondment role to the National Registration Bureau as a Registration Officer for 2nd Generation ID Cards. Mr Nyachieng’a has previously served as a Council Member and Director at the Institute of Human Resources Management. He is a member of the Institute of Human Resources Management and the Marketing Society of Kenya. He was a member of the Human Resource Management Technical Committee at the Kenya Bureau of Standards. He has served on the Board of Management of St. Tiberius Nyamotentemi Secondary School and Gamba SDA Mixed Secondary School. Mr Nyachieng’a has attended numerous management courses covering leadership, change management, computer skills, finance, labour laws, critical skills development, performance management, pension trustees training, team building, conflict management and negotiation skills.
